Terms and conditions

1.What Nodux is

Nodux is cloud software for managing the operations of repair shops and service companies: tickets/work orders, customers (CRM), quotes, rentals, equipment and inventory, along with a portal for your end customers. We offer it “as is” and improve it continuously.

2.Your account

• You are responsible for the information you upload and for the activity that takes place under your account.
• You must safeguard your credentials and those of your team, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
• You must be of legal age to enter into contracts and use the service for a lawful activity.
• As the administrator of your account, you decide which people on your team have access and with which role.

3.Acceptable use

By using Nodux you agree not to:

• Use it for activities that are illegal, fraudulent or harmful to third parties.
• Attempt to breach its security, access data from other accounts or disrupt the service.
• Resell, sublicense or impersonate the platform without authorization.
• Upload content you do not have the rights to, or data about individuals without the legal basis to do so.

4.Your data and your content

The information you upload (tickets, customers, photos, quotes, etc.) is yours. You grant us a limited license to host and process it for the sole purpose of providing the service to you. We do not sell your data or your customers' data. Details on data processing are in our Privacy policy, and how we protect it is in Security.

You are responsible for having a legal basis to process the data of your own customers that you upload to Nodux, and for the accuracy of that information.

5.Plans, payments and refunds

• The service may be offered under free and paid plans. The current conditions and prices are shown at nodux.link/en/pricing.
• Paid plans are billed in advance according to the billing period chosen (monthly or annual) and renew automatically unless you cancel before the next period.
• You can cancel whenever you want; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid and does not give rise to refunds for periods in progress, unless the law provides otherwise.
• We may adjust prices; we will notify you with reasonable advance notice before they apply to your next renewal.

6.Service availability

We work to keep Nodux available and stable, but the service is provided “as available”. There may be maintenance, updates or interruptions. Nodux is also designed to keep working offline and sync when the connection is restored, to reduce the impact of network outages on your side.

7.Intellectual property

The software, the Nodux brand, the design and the code are the property of Nodux Tech LLC. These terms do not transfer ownership of the software to you; we give you the right to use it for as long as you comply with them.

8.Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Nodux shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of profits or loss of data arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the service. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you have paid for the service in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9.Suspension and termination

You can stop using Nodux and close your account whenever you want. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or that puts the service or third parties at risk. In the event of an account closure, you will be able to export your information within a reasonable period before it is deleted.

10.Changes

We may update the service and these terms. If a change is material, we will notify you through a reasonable means (within the app or by email). Continuing to use Nodux after a change means you accept it.

11.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Costa Rica, without prejudice to the rights the law grants you in your country of residence.
